Decorreu na noite de ontem a cerimónia dos SAG Awards 2017 (Screen Actors Guild Awards) nos quais Game of Thrones encontrava-se nomeada em três categorias, Melhor Elenco em Série Dramática, Melhor Ator em Série Dramática (Peter Dinklage) e Melhor Elenco de Duplos em Série. A série ganhou apenas numa das três categorias (Melhor Elenco de Duplos em Série), tendo perdido nas outras duas para Stranger Things e para John Lithgow de The Crown.
